Woking Dave Allen ? That's a brave man.
"Here! I've got an idea. Suppose you agree that he can't actually have babies, not having a womb, which is nobody's fault, not even the Romans', but that he can have the right to have babies".
Poor misguided Monty Python, thinking they were being funny.
I, for one, am glad I came to know of the many great comedians like Dave Allen, etc., during the era when the Woke were dead. How strange they are called Woke when they can barely formulate one lucid thought per month.
In psycho-cybernetics, Maxwell Maltz postulates that the average human barely thinks 1-3 times a year. It's a brilliant book, by the way. For the most part, they are operating on habit (which requires no thinking) and/or autopilot, going from A to B without knowing which one is A and which is B. As long as they are moving they assume they are doing something right, akin to hamsters running in a wheel
When the words short term appear under any post; the same conditions listed in the Market update under the short term category apply
The end is always near; its the beginning and how you live each moment that counts the most

Another book to add to the ever-growing list...

Still, accumulated a lot of experience, which mostly boiled down to: nobody really knows anything, lmao.
Fawlty Towers - I know nothing
Basil wants to make sure that Manuel does not mention that he has placed a bet on a horse, because his wife doesn't know about it.
However, later in the episode he needs to prove how he got the money and asks Manuel to confirm...
The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

Sol, Is this your de-stress method on the day Powell tanks the market?
Well, for some strange reason, I refuse to give into fear in and out of the markets. I am busy selling puts on some stocks I would like to get into, such as AMD, AMAT, and WOLF. Not all will get filled, or maybe they will, as I am asking for what yesterday would amount to ridiculous premiums. But the answer to your question is Yes. Potato head Jerome is given too much power, and the masses and the experts are both guilty. In the end, he is just playing a game of musical chairs; the outcome is always the same, the rich get the seat, the poor the boot.

I must admit that when I watched it again recently, I did find it a bit 'slow'. But it is 50 years old! These Xmas variety shows were very popular.
For context, André Prévin was a foremost pianist, composer and conductor of his time.
(Mind you, conductor isn't a very difficult job - see below)
A. Prévin bit : the intro starts at 22 mins in and if you want to skip that then choose 27 mins. The real fun in the sketch is to see the reactions of the orchestra.
After that sketch is one with the wonderful Shirley Bassey.
Kung Fu Bunnies: Rabbits Caught Midair in Epic Battle Look Like Fighters in an Action Movie
If you’ve never seen a pair of rabbits fighting, these images captured by a Japanese photography team are a must-see.
Suspended in midair in scenes resembling a martial arts movie, the furry creatures are fiercely engaged in a bunny battle. Poised above ground executing punches and side kicks, the “black-belt” duo look like they’ve been training for months.
Posted on Twitter, the pictures caused an avalanche of replies as users compared the perfectly taken snaps to a series of Manga cartoons and fighter games. The two clever photographers of the bunnies are Maya and Takayuki Nakamura, who live in Kumamoto, on the island of Kyushu.
