Not always a good idea to always train with rage music in the ears. BANG BAING BING BANG BANG in your head, it doesnt allow you to focus. A good workout is workout with the brains, a workout where you focus on the exhale and the inhale. A good workout is when you focus on the movement, when you focus on the perfection of the movement.

If you only train with easy pushups, easy dips, easy squats, without focus on respiration or movements in the space, you will be strong but not mobile, and for me you will not be fit. If you only train the mobility and movements without strength, you will be mobile and flex, but you without strength, you wont be fit.

You make some good points.

I use this music differently. I have trained my mind to focus on the beats and channel the energy to what i am doing, for example if i am lifting 25Kg bags of gravel, then if need to lift 10 it gives me the strength to do it. I tried with soft music while i could do it, it did not give me the extra push. I don't allow rage into the equation. It's kind of a 4th way technic where you learn to use things to your advantage without it taking over you. For example, early on i would do things that needed focus in noisy cafe's at first i would to knock everyone out because of all the chatter, then i learnt to silence the chatter and when i did that I actually produced some good work. Putting myself in trying conditions helped me become versatile. The old Sol would have found it very hard to pick up and leave NY and travel as much as I do.

Oh btw i use different music to cool down, either classical or instrumental music

Oui. Heavy TGUs, hanging, and different types of crawling, combined, build both strength and mobility through all dimensions of movement, across all limbs and fascial planes, as well as strengthening the core in a functional manner, so one doesn't become a sissy that just does push-ups and dips.

Sorry stef could you rephrase? To mangle a quote from the Princess Bride: "You keep using the phrase 'I could do the referee'. I do not think it means what you think it means.”

We should all meet up in the Metaverse and do this. After all, we're all Pureblooded (Unjabbed), so it might be easier.

Shame the poster just put 'Old man', but it's a bit of much-needed levity.

Apparently the chap is called Italo Vegliante

The best part of that clip is most definitely not the music.
