4/7/21 bought DPST @$235
Yes - I'm late to the party. I finally opened a TD Ameritrade account so I can buy leveraged ETFs. Maybe should have gone for a lower entry point but figured the average was OK. I'll set the 2nd buy in the $163-$168 range.

The MU guideline says buy when IBM trades below $128, but many jumped in when it was $132.NoLimit201 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 3:30 pm IBM CALL price is now below the average entry price 4.50 posted on MU (Mar.31 edition)

Yes, and I see it as a high risk play. It really says IBM will finally get some traction with Watson. They've been beating that particular drum for YEARS and not gaining traction. Their stock has been declining since 2012. Still, we can hope SOL has some insight about why these old fuddy duddies will eventually pull their head out of their ass. By the way their earnings report is next tuesday April 20th and they're expected to report earnings below last year. So those with no play could wait til Tuesday and see which way the stock jumps.ultramartian wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 5:00 pmThe MU guideline says buy when IBM trades below $128, but many jumped in when it was $132.NoLimit201 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 3:30 pm IBM CALL price is now below the average entry price 4.50 posted on MU (Mar.31 edition)

EBSB feels like it is toying with us. A couple weeks ago it went down to 18.01

IMHO, what really matters is the CALL price itself. And the options price don't necessarily sync with its underlying. In this case, the IBM is now trading at 130 range but the 170 CALL for Jan 2023 is trading at the 4.3 range which was available when IBM was trading at 128 range on March 22, because the volatility level of the market is lower than March 22---the day we got in this paly right after the play was posted on March 21th MU. Of course based on current IV trend you can get better CALL price if IBM moves below 128.ultramartian wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 5:00 pmThe MU guideline says buy when IBM trades below $128, but many jumped in when it was $132.NoLimit201 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 3:30 pm IBM CALL price is now below the average entry price 4.50 posted on MU (Mar.31 edition)
The vol of this CALL made its all-time high today--it's 660 when I'm writing. I just bot the CALLs. No pain no gain!
To be clear, I am not trying to suggest you guys to buy at current price. Different traders have different risk tolerance. I even traded GME options when it swung between 40 and 400. For me, IBM is a conservative play posted in green color of MU TREND category.

Re: Fills
I'm pretty bullish on IBM in the 2 - 5 year time frame, especially in terms of owning the stock itself, as it's currently paying nearly 5% in dividends.
Plus, I tend to use TT as a bit of a contrarian indicator. LMAO.

Re: Fills
I jest, Young Anakin. I know you can take it.

To me, IBM's a great HODL stock for the following reasons:
-near 5% dividend, almost like a high-yield bond;
-part of the A.I. trend;
-quantum computing;
-machine learning;
-most investors seem to think IBM is boring and is not going to do anything;
