2/25/21 Bought IDU @ $73.91 (Proxy for UPW since Vanguard won't let me buy leveraged products)

Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).

Maybe you want to consider opening another brokerage account with a different broker?Triplethought wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 9:47 pm 2/25/21 Bought IDU @ $73.91 (Proxy for UPW since Vanguard won't let me buy leveraged products)

Re: UPW
I will eventually get off my ass and do that. I actually called Vanguard and was flat told "we don't allow" which is odd because I got special permission to play options. Since I have the bulk of my funds inside an IRA I need to be careful about tax consequences. I assume I can open an IRA at Robinhood or whatever and do a transfer. One thing I have found is it's very nice having lots of $$ (my ammo) in one place. peeling off some of that cash I'll end up being limited on the number of buys I can do (I HATE being told my limit orders exceed my available funds) plus I'll end up having to keep track of which account owns which parts of the various portfolios. So far for the few leveraged ETFs, I've decided to either forego the play or (in this case) try to see if there is an unleveraged version (although lower risk also lower reward).ultramartian wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 5:38 pmMaybe you want to consider opening another brokerage account with a different broker?Triplethought wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 9:47 pm 2/25/21 Bought IDU @ $73.91 (Proxy for UPW since Vanguard won't let me buy leveraged products)
